Today I was asked to speak and lead two classes for Oxbridge at Barnard on the University Columbia campus. I was so excited. I packed my BOY MEETS GIRL® backpack with my #EMBRACINGTHECALMINTHECHAOS book, my vintage charm necklaces, my OG BMG Ribbon, and some surprise giveaways. Giving back to these students through my experience is everything to me. I talk a lot about this in my book and why I created BOY MEETS GIRL® University.
I had a lot of fun today. The students were from all over the world. They asked smart questions and I learned a lot too. Thank you Claudine for having me.
A few takeaways: These students were aged 16-19. They were big fans of the OG shows BOY MEETS GIRL® has been featured on such as Gilmore Girls, Gossip Girl, and Vampire Diaries ( they especially loved the mug shot of Nina Dobrev). As I always say what is old is new again : )
