When I looked at my top-performing newsletters, I saw that my image of the GOAT — yes, Michael Jordan — made it to the top 4!
So if you read my book and if you follow my brand BOY MEETS GIRL® you will know my love for my Chicago Bulls . Yes, I lived through the Chicago Bulls' NBA championships in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997, and 1998. Even though I've lived in NYC since 1999, I’ll always be a Bulls fan! My son, born in NYC, is both a Knicks and Bulls fan. Last night, thanks to my Bulls partnership, I took my husband, sister, and son to the game in New York—our first time seeing the Bulls play the Knicks here.
It was amazing, although different without Jordan, Pippen, Starks, and Ewing. That moment with my son made me reflect on the passage of time. After the Bulls won by one point, my son hugged me and called it, “the best, exciting game.” I was surprised he wasn’t upset about the Knicks losing—he showed me how much he’s grown, appreciating the game over just the win.
Following the chain of my popular newsletters, next up...

Because this was one of my top 4 best newsletters, I'm sharing it again here!
Lastly, in every newsletter, I’ll highlight some of my friends on Substack and others I love and believe you will too.
As I wrote in Embracing The Calm In the Chaos, “My story is about how I’ve grown my brand for twenty years, while handling challenges, doing what I love, and still being able to contribute to the world around me. Throughout my journey... I also relied on the wisdom of my friends and colleagues—those with whom I have an authentic connection... I’ll share some of their expert advice as well, as I’m a firm believer that gleaning knowledge from like-minded individuals is essential to progress.”
