ELECTION DAY:
Today is Election Day, and I wanted to take a moment to remind you how important it is to make your voice heard. Last weekend, I voted early with my son and husband, and it felt empowering to take part in shaping our future together.
At BOY MEETS GIRL®, we’ve always believed in using our platform to inspire change, especially by encouraging the youth to get out and vote. Your vote matters, and it’s one of the most powerful tools we have to create the world we want to live in.
If you haven’t voted yet, now’s the time! Make sure to head to the polls and use your voice for what you believe in.
HALLOWEEN:
I know today may feel heavy for many of us, so I thought I’d share something a little lighter. This year for Halloween, I went as Taylor Swift, and DJ Blue Steel—you guessed it—was Travis Kelce!
For the past 10 years, we’ve always dressed up as a family with our son, Dylan (who, if you follow me, you know just turned double digits this year!). He dressed as a football player (Aidan Hutchinson is a defensive end for the Detroit Lions) this time, and for the first time, we didn’t manage to get a family photo together. But I did snag one with him and Rocky in her Bears jersey ;) I have to admit, I’m feeling a little sad not having our family shot.
But here’s a quick look back at some of our costumes through the years, and maybe next year, we’ll get that family photo back if my then 11-year-old lets me lol!
